Gerke is a 1 y.o. purebred Dutch Friesian gelding. He a full brother to our Aisis and just as sweet. Gerke has the long beautiful legs and fuzzy feet that his father passes along to his offspring. We can’t wait for him to be old enough to follow in his fathers steps behind a carriage.

Xavier is a 4 yo purebred Dutch FPS Friesian gelding. He was born June 08, 2007 on a warm summer night. Not only was it summer and 9pm at night, it was 1/4 mile away from our barn in the furthest corner of our field. Needless to say Eric carried the wriggly little colt with mother in tow up to the barn. Xavier has a wonderful, kind personality and loves attention. Xavier is trained under carriage and started his under saddle training this year. He is a stunning young boy!

Aisis (Ice-is), a 2 yo filly, is the newest addition to our ranch born. She is a purebred Dutch FPS Friesian. She promises to be stunning, tall, and exhibit exceptional conformation. Careful and well researched breeding to Nanning, owned by Scott & Shelly Kelnhofer, will bring us a best friend as well as a beautiful broodmare and wonderful sport mount.
Aisis is absolutely stunning!

Izzy as I fondly call her is our 2nd premie ster mare. I can have a horrible day and greet her in the field and she takes all the worries and troubles away. We have had the pleasure of owning my girl since 2006. Izzy is broke to ride English/dressage and has been trained for cart. She has had four lovely babies and have received premie status. Izzy is extremely intelligent, loving and sweet. She has passed these wonderful traits onto her foals. Izzy is 16 hh and true black.

Rosie was the best thing to come into our son’s life! She was won with a $1.00 raffle ticket from the H.O.W. organization in 2005. Chris has trained her for driving carriage, western pleasure and halter. In 2007 Chris and Rosie took two top ten placing at the Wis. State 4-H show in West Allis, WI. They were also awarded Reserve Halter Pony champion in Wis. In September 2007 they were awarded at the Wisconsin State Horse Council championship in Custer, WI., Pony Pleasure Driving Champion & Reserve Reinsmanship (driving). This year Christopher Smith and Rosie will be performing at Midwest Horse fair in Madison, WI., during the H.O.W. demonstrations. Though Rosie is our “blond” amongst all the black horse, she holds her and is just as competitive! Rosie & Chris do it again in 2008-WINNERS of the Championship Challenge in both Pony Pleasure & Reinsmanship.
Majestic Rose (Rosie), purebred Haflinger
Austin came into our lives on my daughter’s 12th birthday and started this whole mess! She was our daughter’s babysitter, best friend and equal partner. The two were the Ashley/Austin team and jumping was in her blood. We sought out shows that offered Hunter/Jumper events. Her black coat, scopie movements caught the eye of many judges. Austin is now 16 years old and enjoys the leisurely life on the farm and being a mom. Pictured along with Austin is Ashley Smith.
Princess Austin (Austin), Appaloosa/QH
Willow is our daughter Ashley’s filly. Willow was the first baby born to Austin and of course a mirror image of her mother. Just like her mother Willow has the same sized star on her face. Our daughter always loved hunter hack and I’m sure this little filly has some fences to jump in the future.
Willow is 2 and she is a great mix of both her Mother & father. Gentle training has begun and she’ll be hitting the show circuit in the spring. Great things to come!

Schnapps came into our hearts only a week after we lost our beloved cocker spaniel Shadow. Schnapps was found on the side of the road by an officer on duty. We picked her up from the animal shelter and she fit in the palm of my hand. She is the best dog we have ever had the pleasure of owning and having part of our family! Schnapps loves to ride in the carriage along side Eric in the “Dog and Horse” classes. 2008 we’ve had DNA testing done our wonder dog! She is no longer a mystery...Bernese Mountain dog, Cocker Spaniel, Poodle & Enu Shibu. Wow, who would’ve thought?
Schnapps, Cocker Spaniel and mystery
Elmo is our 5 year old “Puppy”. He has never grown up but we wouldn’t want it any other way. When 8 pm comes around it’s Elmo time and you better be sitting down to cuddle. Elmo’s favorite things:
Food
Tiger toy
Bedtime
Elmo, Miniature Dachshund
Daisy our 9 yr old cat is a super kitty! She’s the best mouser in the world and keeps the dogs in check! She was brought home from a parade where she was being given away. Her dislikes are winter. And she loves summer!
